Description of the graphics: IVT and IWV are the Water Vapor Transport and Content integrated in the column of the atmosphere, respectively. The magnitude of IVT (kg m/s) and IWV (kg/m2 or mm) are shaded in different colours, while the direction and magnitude of IVT are also shown with vector arrows. The sea level pressure (hPa) is plotted with blue lines in the IVT plots. The height-latitude plots of horizontal moisture flux along the 77°W meridian, close to the west coast, is shown with arrows and coloured shaded for its magnitude. The blue line represents the forecasted IVT values and the dotted lines represent the 85th percentile of IVT for the corresponding month which is used as threshold of AR conditions.
